In practice, this means that details provided could be used to receive newsletters and information on relevant services provided by Slingshot. Information is retained for the purposes of pursuing legitimate interests and will be removed from our records should active consent or legitimate interests no longer stand. Slingshot endeavours to maintain accurate records of personal data. Unless specified, data subjects are under no contractual obligations to provide personal data.

Your data is stored securely and is not transferred to any third party without the active consent of the data subject being obtained. Slingshot processes all data manually and does not undertake automated decision-making processes. Privacy by design is mandatory to all new projects and storage systems at Slingshot.

Slingshot monitors information acquired via the company website to better understand how the site is being used and how it can be improved. This type of information is collective data (such as the total number of website visitors) and does not identify individuals. These statistics are collected on a regular basis and only used internally. It is stressed that no personal customer information is collected without consent.

Data processing and access to data on behalf of our customers

Some services offered by Slingshot involve accessing and processing data that has been gathered by our clients. Slingshot will only lawfully process this data whilst acting on behalf of the client and in accordance with the legitimate interests of the client’s company.
